History

History as an option subject has continued to attract small, but enthusiastic groups of students each year. Results at all levels continue to be above the national averages. Two well qualified History teachers lead the social science department in the teaching of history and their leadership has influenced a strong involvement in outside enrichment activities such as participation in Gallipoli Essays, Commonwealth Student CHOGM and United Nations Student Forums.
