Junior Performing Arts

The junior performing arts program runs from years 7 to 9 and includes the disciplines of music, drama and dance. At each year level, the courses are designed so that essential skills and vocabularies are built upon. We strive to package the learning activities and topics in a relevant, creative and engaging way.

Whilst the emphasis is on participation, not perfection, we provide opportunities for extension where appropriate. The classroom and performance expectations are set up in a way that fosters a sense of safety and affirmation to those students involved in expressing themselves creatively.
