Welcome to the Careers Department

Careers information is based in the school library so students can access it at any time during the school day. A well stocked Careers library is constantly updated with the latest information sent out by tertiary institutions.

Other sources of information include Career Quest which can be accessed on all the networked computers at HIBS and online, either through www.careers.govt.nz or through the websites of the individual provider. Some of the providers that many of students go to have links below.

Students are welcome to make an appointment with the Careers Advisor. Please note the details on the door to the office regarding her timetable and where to find her.

As well as Careers guidance and resources, the Careers Department offers STAR and Gateway.
